Terry Ahern, President of STOParazzi®  has over 20 years experience dealing with celebrities, paparazzi, the press, tabloids and photo agencies. Ahern has worked closely with myriad high profile celebrities as a publicist on the record and off along with every photo agency and entertainment media outlet in Hollywood. Although his client list is confidential, he is truly outspoken when it comes to his opinion on the current hostile climate of the celebs vs. paparazzi war which wages on the streets of Los Angeles on a daily basis. Celebs and Paps have never been so at odds. Hostile, violent and dangerous celeb/paparazzi incidents are happening more and more frequently in Hollywood and worldwide. Ahern believes something has to be done about the intrusive, dangerous, privacy-invading tactics the tabloid-media-driven “photojournalists,” are resorting to these days. “The cowboy-style, no holds barred, outlaw paparazzi we are seeing on the streets of Hollywood is a far more virulent strain of paparazzi than ever seen before. Their desperation to capture the big money shot compounds itself exponentially with every passing month,” says Ahern.

Ahern knows this all too well since his job over the past number of years has been to protect his celebrity clients from the media. That is to say, not prevent celebs from being photographed, but working with the agencies and celebs to get gorgeous shots at a safe distance without disturbance, threat, or harassment.
